Hey everybody~ I hope all of you are doing well. I'm doing okay, there isn't too much stress or anything atm.^^ But anyway.

I have noticed that there's this some sort of LeeGaa/GaaLee WAR going on. People fight over who should be on the top in this pairing and say a lot of nasty stuff to each other. (I'm not naming anyone here, or blaming either.) I happen to like LeeGaa (Lee-seme, Gaara-uke) so apparently I'm on this LeeGaa "side".

I wouldn't mind this, but I have got my own part in this war, without nobody asking me. Sometimes people stop reading my Doujinshi "Start Over" because they notice it has uke Gaara in it. I don't get why, especially because my doujins don't involve sex or any other extreme behaviour. But it's still ok with me, as long as people don't start bitching at me about it, and doesn't really have even much to do with this war now.

Because there are still GaaLee fans who read my Doujinshi, and I don't mind that at all. If people like it, I just say thanks and I hope you will keep on reading it. I'm not separating my readers to "LeeGaa fans" and "No-LeeGaa fans" or anything. But it seems like some other people are.

I was surprised and annoyed to see that some of the people who have commented on my work have received replies like "why are you reading this Doujinshi because you like Lee-uke, GaaLee is shit, you suck, etc." I mean what the hell? The comic isn't about just some pairing, it's a piece of art I have produced to entertain others and myself. It's stupid if people use their energy for bashing others on my page when I put my art here so it could be read, viewed and reviewed.

I find all of this rather odd and I have never seen anything like this in any other fandom. Sure there are people who talk crap on deviations about other pairings and characters but this is different. This seems to be so freaking serious issue to some people, and I first found it just comic. Now I find it ridiculous. And I have decided something.

I don't want to be a part of this fandom if it's build on hate and bashing of the same characters it loves and people who have done nothing wrong and who are amazing artists and people. I really don't.

Basically this would mean that I stopped drawing Start Over for good and wouldn't make any more LeeGaa pics for a long while, nor watch other works or read fics or be a part of group activity. If this makes me some kind of "traitor", then okay. You're free to say what's on your mind, but so am I, and especially on my own page which should focus on my art and things I like.

So if you want to fight this, please do it somewhere else and not on my page, and don't drag me into it because I don't want to be a part of it. I choose myself what I like, who are my friends, and what I do. I don't want to belong to a hateful fandom. I have plenty of hate in my life already and I want to get rid of it, too.

But in the end, I'm not going to stop drawing StOve. There are more people who are not involved in this than people who are, so it wouldn't be good to anyone. I just want to be left alone about this issue.

I don't know when I will upload the next page, or even when I will stat drawing it. There isn't any inspiration of LeeGaa for me here, since everybody's drawing/writing something else or are inactive nowadays. Or focus on what they hate instead of what they love. And I don't get my inspiration for this from hate.
